Course Contents:

Stage I

  • Handing over processes, plant and equipment
  • Restoring the workplace after completing the maintenance procedure
  • Minimizing and reducing risks to life, property and the environment at work
  • Operating safely at work, minimising risks and complying with emergency procedures
  • Participating in activities to develop effective working relationships
  • Arranging and preparing the workplace for the maintenance

Stage II

  • Plant, process and controls –overview
  • Oil and gas processing equipment’s and their functions
  • Reading and understanding P and I Ds
  • Maintain equipment with practices & procedures
  • Assess and deal with defects/variations
  • Analyze and find faults
  • Arrange equipment for mechanical engineering activities
  • Prepare material for maintenance
  • Modify mechanical equipment’s
  • Removing components from mechanical equipment’s
  • Replace components to mechanical equipment’s
  • Establish viability of repairing components
  • Understanding and analysing information from drawings, manuals, datasheets, tech resources
  • Obtaining info from engineering drawings and specs
  • Analysing/recommending improvement to maintenance procedures
  • Verifying mech. Engineering processes are completed to required spec
  • Examine the performance & state of mechanical equipment’s
  • Assess the performance and state of mechanical equipment’s
